Terrence Dela Peña is a Master of Public Administration student from the Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics. He is emphasizing in local government and information systems. Terrence graduated from BYU-Hawaii, majoring in Political Science. As a volunteer, he serves as the Engagement Lead for the American Red Cross. Terrence is a father of two boys and loves spending time with his family during his free time. William Livingston is an MPA candidate at the Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics. He has a passion for State and Local Government that was instilled by his mom and dad at a young age through participation in youth sports, cub scouts, boy scouts, and service in his community. Cyril Mensah is a graduate student at the Marriott School of Business pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree. He believes he can influence the rising generation to make innovative moral and ethical changes to public service by being a researcher in public administration.
Additionally, he plans to minor in information systems and use advanced data analytics skills to gather and process research data that will spearhead the public service changes he wishes to see. He gained experience in innovative public service through his internship with the Utah State Government. Cyril is from Ghana and had his bachelors in Accounting and his first masters degree (MBA, Finance)from the Methodist University in Ghana. Karlee Neifert is a BYU MPA candidate graduating in 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from BYU and loves positive psychology, which is a field studying what builds happiness rather than what goes wrong in life. Karlee is earning her MPA so that she can develop knowledge and skills to make a positive lasting change in her community and her family. Gabe Kidman is a current MPA student at the Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics. With an emphasis in State and Federal government, he wishes to go on to get a PhD and become a researcher and professor in Public Management. Before coming to BYU, Gabe received his bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education (with an emphasis in government) at BYU-Idaho. Gabe is passionate about understanding the public administrative arm of government and using research and education as ways to help influence, improve, and refine its responsibilities.
